| A couple of years ago someone gave me the opportunity to play around with one of these smart, wonderful and expensive things: a sophisticated, professional camera. My mind was totally blown away. I couldn't think clearly anymore and I realized that that I had to get my own camera. As a student I could hardly afford to buy such a device, but I did everything to acquire such a wonderful thing. When I received my own camera, my whole life changed. Photography touched my heart and my mind. While I was studying geography at the University of Bern I had only little time to practise my skills, but my passion for photography grew faster than I had ever imagined. Photography, playing with lights and subjects became the centre of my life So I decided to follow this fascinating path and devote my life to professional photography. After graduation from University, I started photography studies and set up my own business activity. It is quite tough to do both at the same time, but the possibility to live for my passion drives me go all day long. I like to feel the creativity in my hands while I'm shooting pictures. I'm so impressed by the new chances, possibilities and the new paths which open in front of me only by doing something that makes my heart beat faster. These days I love to make big epic digital compositions and I realize that the possibilities are endless (and so are the hours spent). It is challenging to take the pictures outdoors or indoors and it is exciting to discover the undreamed-of possibilities of image processing. I love what I do. I like to tell stories with my creativity and enjoy meeting other interesting people. For me, photography became definitely an obsession! Exciting times ahead! |
